The event will be postponed. Further information will follow shortly.
The DE:Sign Young Researchers Workshop brings together early-career scientists and engineers from all DE:Sign-funded projects for a day of exchange, insight, and networking. This internal event is designed to foster cross-project dialogue, strengthen community ties, and highlight the diverse research being carried out under the DE:Sign initiative.
Through a series of short talks, poster sessions, and interactive discussions, participants can present their current work, share challenges and solutions, and explore potential synergies across project boundaries. The workshop offers a supportive environment to practice communication skills, receive peer feedback, and form lasting connections within the DE:Sign network.
All participants are required to provide a contribution, initially outlined in the form of a brief abstract. Based on the submitted abstracts, contributions will be selected for either a flash talk presentation (5-minute talk followed by up to 5 minutes of Q&A) or a poster presentation during the dedicated poster session.
An abstract is mandatory for the approval of your registration. You may edit your registration at a later date to provide the abstract.
A special highlight of the event will be guided tours through the facilities of IHP. These tours offer a unique opportunity to gain insight into one of Germany’s leading research institutes for silicon-based system solutions.
To wrap up the day, we invite all participants to a networking session featuring a selection of light refreshments to encourage further exchange between participants. In the evening, we invite you to join us for an informal pub night in the local area — a relaxed opportunity to continue conversations and build community. (Please note: food and drinks at the pub will be at participants’ own expense.)
Registration is open until 15.06.2025.
