The venue Schloss Bückeburg is easily reachable by public transportation from Hannover airport or main train station. Trains run every 30 min and take about one hour from the airport. You can find the schedule and buy tickets here: www.bahn.de or use the DB Navigator app on your smartphone. From Bückeburg Bahnhof it is a 15 min walk along Bahnhofstraße to Schloss Bückeburg.

You will receive your badge upon check in at Schloss Bückeburg. To ensure all the data on the badge is correct, please log into the conference website, click on "Registration" and check that all your data. In particular, pay attention to the "Affiliation" field (university name or company), since it will appear on your badge. Please check your dietary restrictions and the choices for the Social Activity and for the Lab Tours. If changes need to be made, use the "Modify" button. Changes are possible until the end of September 19th (midnight Hannover time).

We will also take pictures during the conference. In case you don’t want your picture on the conference web page and social media channels, such as LinkedIn, let us know.

Be aware that due to fire regulations we will have to check you in every day of the conference. Since Schloss Bückeburg is a historic site, it is not barrier free and the main venue can only be reached by stairs.

We offer packed lunch on Friday. For those who opted for a lab tour when registering, we will take buses to Hannover or Braunschweig. In Braunschweig, the bus will wait and then continue to Hannover, so that all participants will be in Hannover in the evening and can travel home from Hannover by plane or train. Please note for the Hannover lab tours there will be no organized bus to the airport, since public transport is available.

August 17th, 2023: Abstract submission and registration are closed. A preliminary program has been compiled and can be found here.

July 12th, 2023: Registrations are currently suspended because we are approaching the limits of the venue. However, for abstracts submitted, we will strive to preferentially enable registration for the submitter. If you submit an abstract that is accepted, you will receive a registration invitation. Please submit your abstract soon! Any remaining spots will go up for registration after that process is complete. Please contact us with specific information directly.

February 2023: Registration is now open. We have only a limited number of places - register now! Please submit abstracts for posters and hot topic talks.

Please note that you need to set up a konferenz.uni-hannover.de indico account to register. If you run into any issues, please contact us at ecti2023@iqo.uni-hannover.de!

Please note that only limited room allotments are available! More details under the point "Accommodation".

Please note that the scientific program of the conference will end around 12:45 on Friday, 29.09.2023.

We offer packed lunch on Friday. On Friday afternoon we offer lab tours. One lab tour will take place in Hannover, a second one in Braunschweig. You can choose one during registration. Unfortunately, we don't have enough time to visit both labs.
From Bückeburg we will take buses to Hannover or Braunschweig. In Braunschweig, the bus will wait and then continue to Hannover, so that all participants will be in Hannover in the evening and can travel home from Hannover by plane or train.
Please adjust your hotel reservations accordingly. We have not reserved any contingents for an additional overnight stay in Hannover. From Hannover you can get back to Bückeburg by train on your own if necessary.
